Summer Camp Scholarships *

Winds of Destiny is committed to increasing access to camps for those children who would otherwise never experience the joy of camp.  As Winds of Destiny continues to partner with single moms struggling to meet the day-to-day living expenses we have established a scholarship fund for those children who would otherwise be stuck inside. The Beyond the Four Walls scholarship(s) will cover one child for one week of camp. Winds of Destiny will cover the cost for each child up to $300.00. If you have multiple children applying, each child must have an application.

Scholarship Requirements:

  • Students must be between 6-16 years old.

  • The application must be submitted by the parent/guardian (parental consent will be verified for winning entries).

  • Winning applicants must submit a photo of a student at the camp and a paragraph describing their camp experience within 2 weeks of completing the camp. Winds of Destiny can share photos and paragraphs submitted online and on social media.

Application Deadline

  • The application deadline is April 28, 2025. To be considered for a scholarship, you must submit ALL required information.

  • We will notify you as soon as possible regarding your scholarship status.

Scholarship Terms:

·      Applicants understand that there are far more applicants than scholarships available.

  • Applicants understand that scholarships are awarded based on application information and the date of receipt of application.

  • Only one application is allowed per student per year.

  • Scholarships cannot be transferred to another person.

  • Scholarship winners must respond and accept the scholarship within 2 weeks of receiving notice, or they will forfeit it, resulting in the scholarship being awarded to another student.

  • The scholarship will cover up to $300 of the base cost of the camp. If the total cost of the camp chosen is higher, the winner will be responsible for covering the additional cost.

  • The scholarship does not cover any additional camp expenses, including, but not limited to, before or after care, food, etc..

  • The scholarship is not redeemable for cash.

  • Any violation of these Terms will disqualify the Scholarship applicant or winner.

  •  If children are registered for camp and do not show up, you may forfeit their ability to be awarded financial aid.

  •  I understand that I am responsible for transportation to and from the camp.

How to Apply.

  • Complete the Camp Scholarship Fund Application.

  •   Email info@windsofdestiny.org the camp flyer or other information regarding the camp along with your name and phone number.
